Polymer Modified Grout For Tile And Stone Joints

GECO JOINTFILL is a water-repellent polymer-modified cementitious grout developed for use on joints of 1 to 6 mm width. It effectively fills the gap and levels itself to provide durable and non-dusting joints.

Description

GECO JOINTFILL can be used:

  • Is suitable for grouting ceramic tiles, vitrified tiles, natural stones, granites, mosaics and marbles in walls and floors
  • Can be used in both internal and external areas, including wet areas like bathrooms and showers
Application Procedure
  1. Check that all tiles are securely fixed, and that the adhesive has thoroughly set.
  2. Ensure the joints are dry and free from dirt and other loose materials.
  3. Add 3 parts of grout to 1 part of clean water and mix by hand or slow speed mixer (<300 rpm) until a lump-free, smooth, workable and still paste is obtained.
  4. Fill the joints with JOINTFILL diagonally across the surface using a grouting trowel without leaving any gaps.
  5. Work in small areas and remove as much excess grout as possible from the surface with a damp sponge.
  6. When the grout is completely dry, polish the tile surface with a clean dry cloth.
